Our Location
Glenfinnan Candles is situated in the beautiful highland village of Glenfinnan,17 Miles outside of Fort William, on the scenic Road to the Isles which runs through some of the most stunning and dramatic countryside anywhere in Britain.
The village has a place in Scottish history as a monument marks the spot where Bonnie Prince Charlie raised the standard in 1745 marking the start of the Jacobite rebellion. It is also famous for movie buffs as the place where scenes from Harry Potter and Highlander were filmed.
The village holds a population of around 120 people so everyone knows everyone else, which is good, (most of the time).

On approaching Glenfinnan, follow the main road into the village, carry on past the Glenfinnan monument, and right up the hill approximately 500 yards further on. Glenfinnan Candles is located next to the car park on the left, opposite the Prince's House Hotel .
Travelling By Road
The roads in this area are a pleasure to drive on, with wonderful views to enjoy en route. The A830 Road to the Isles ends at Mallaig some 40 miles from Glenfinnan, is well signposted. For a detailed travel planner, see the AA website.
If you are travelling by bus to Fort William, the Scottish Citylink website gives all necessary timetable details. Car hire is available in Fort William, or you can carry on to Glenfinnan using the train (see below for timetable link).
Scotrail runs a regular service from Glasgow Queen Street along the famous West Highland Line, including a sleeper service to Fort William. The station is only 300 metres walk from our shop. Timetable details available on the Scotrail website
